TVShowsOnDVD broke the news Visual Entertainment, Inc. is going to release the DVD of the series “Special Unit 2”. While there is no specific date announced it is expected to be released in the second half of 2015.

Special Unit 2 is one of Tom Welling’s TV projects before he accepted the role of Clark Kent in Smallville. It aired on UPN (now: CW) in 2001 and it was a mystery drama series. Welling has a short guest appeareance in episode six called “The Depths”. The series includes two seasons which both aired in 2001.
