tom200thtalkingIGN released their interview with Tom Welling which was made at Smallville’s 200th episode party. Here are some highlights:

IGN: As an actor, I imagine it must be pretty amazing to play a character for this length of time and get to show him developing and evolving. Do you ever look back at Season 1 and see how much you’ve changed?

Welling: It’s amusing for me to look back at some of the earlier episodes. I mean, I’m a completely different person, physically and mentally. The times when I catch an old episode, or maybe even put one on as reference for something we’re doing now, I can’t help but be a little surprised. “Look at that kid! He doesn’t know what the hell he’s doing!” And that’s Clark and me. So I’ve been able to hopefully grow along with Clark. It’s been a good journey for both of us!
